We are really pleased to announce that we just resumed selling all the HarperCollins eBooks about ten minutes ago. Two (publishers) down and three more to go. (Hachette, Simon & Schuster and Macmillan) (Perhaps our recent blog about being Jilted tugged at their heartstrings????)

While I’m happy that there’s progress, such as it is, I find myself rather underwhelmed and a bit resentful. What a bunch of ingrates the A5 are showing themselves to be; when it comes down to it, don’t we, the paying public, deserve better from them? Furthermore, this break from their authors’ works in e-format has only given me the opportunity to find out about the many writers just as good, if not better, available from indie publishers that still care about their customers. As a matter of fact, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your blogs; your sharp wit and pointed comments are a high cut above the drivel some of the A5 authors have produced as of late for these publishers. I’m happy that the ebook sellers are getting these contracts ironed out, but I for one, really don’t give a rat’s behind anymore. I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before other paying customers react the same way.
I am brand new to your website. I have purchased a lot of ebooks from 1 of your competitors whom I was surprised to learn tonight didn’t have one of my favourite authors listed anymore. I went in search of answers and found yours. Great that you are keeping your customers informed. I now know why there is a great big sale on at my usual place. I am going to continue looking through your site. I think that you have just found another customer!
